A sweet and aromatic alternative to vanilla extract.

Ingredients
1 - 2good quality vanilla beans of your choice
2cupsof granulatedwhite sugar
1small jar with a tight fitting lide.g. mason jar
Instructions
Pour 2 cups of sugar into small, airtight jar
Cut bean(s) in half with a knife (in the middle, not lengthwise)
Place beans down into sugar
Tightly close lid and shake

- Store in dark, cool, dry place, like a pantry, closet or basement. - Shake every so often for the first few weeks to evenly distribute flavour. - As sugar levels get low, just keep adding more. Always shake after adding new sugar.
